Delegates called for Carers’ Allowance to reflect the real financial impact that caring responsibilities of over 35 hours each week has on individuals.

ADM 2024: Usdaw delegates call for significant reform of the regulation of the sale of vape products

Delegates at the Annual Delegate Meeting (ADM) of the retail trade union Usdaw have today supported a call for the display and sale of vape products to be limited in the same way tobacco products, so that they are regulated by legislation.

The Labour leader gave a keynote speech in which he thanked Usdaw members for their contribution as key workers and set out plans to tackle retail crime, rejuvenate high streets, deliver a new deal for working people and ensure that a growing economy delivers prosperity for workers.

Studio Retail announce proposed changes at their Accrington, Trafford and Widnes sites – Usdaw will now enter into consultation talks

Retail, warehouse and distribution trade union Usdaw has been briefed by Studio Retail, a home shopping business wholly owned by Frasers Group, about proposals to restructure the business, which could have a significant impact on staff in the Accrington, Trafford and Widnes sites.
