Retail Reps should have now received their Respect Week pack. This year, the campaign can’t be run in the normal way. Usdaw wants to keep retail workers safe from the virus as well as safe from abuse, so we are not asking Reps to run stalls in store.
Without the normal stalls, there are still a number of ways you can help get the key messages across this year.
How you can help
We are asking all Usdaw Reps to help deliver this year’s Respect for Shopworkers Week Campaign in three ways:
- Tell us your experiences: Ask members and non-members to take our survey online, so politicians understand the issues retail workers face. It only takes a few minutes.
- Sign the Petition: Ask members and non-members to sign our petition for a law that protects retail workers - it is gaining momentum.
- Join the Union: Ask any non-members who engage with the campaign to join Usdaw!
