What you should do after an accident



Members’ Checklist

  • Call FirstCall Usdaw on 0800 055 6333 to register your injury, or log it online here.
  • If the accident happened in work, tell your Usdaw Rep and Manager. The accident and your injuries should be recorded in the Accident Book.
  • See your doctor.
  • Keep any evidence regading the accident.
  • Know your entitlement to Sick Pay, and if necessary, make enquiries at your local Benefits Agency to claimed your full entitlement to State Benefits.
