Speaking at a TUC fringe meeting at the annual Congress in Brighton, Usdaw rep Raktima Sarkar described the problems insecure workers face and the efforts the union is making to get a better deal.

Walgreen Boots Alliance today announced its intention to enter into a ten-year global agreement and sell its Boots Contract Manufacturing businesses to the contract pharmaceutical company, Fareva. The deal will see Fareva manufacture and supply beauty brands and private label products.
