Sunday Trading Northern Ireland Survey

Large stores in Northern Ireland are only able to open for 5 hours on Sundays and our members have always said they appreciate that shorter working day at the weekend.

However, both Belfast City Council and Derry City & Strabane Council have decided to consult on measures that would mean large shops would be able to open for as long as they like on 18 Sundays a year.

Usdaw is concerned that this would not only have a negative effect on shopworkers in those areas, but could lead to calls for longer Sunday Trading across Northern Ireland.

Thank you for helping to make the campaign as effective as possible by completing the survey below.
