Former Co-op Travel staff now in Thomas Cook are devastated by today's news says Usdaw

Date: 23 September 2019 Shopworkers’ trade union Usdaw represents staff in Thomas Cook who were transferred when the Co-op sold their travel business in 2011.
John Gorle – Usdaw National Officer says: “Our members in Thomas Cook are devastated by the news that the company has ceased trading today. Our thoughts are also with the customers affected.

“We are in touch with the business, seeking to ensure that the staff are heard through the administration process, so that we can secure the best deal possible for them. In the meantime Usdaw is providing our members with the support, advice and representation they need at this difficult time.”
