Sainsbury’s Local store on Watergate in Chester set to close – Usdaw is supporting members through the process 18 April 2024 Retail trade union Usdaw has been briefed by the supermarket giant Sainsbury’s of their intention to close the ‘Local’ convenience store on Watergate Street in Chester 14 September 2024. This will impact 14 staff, with most at risk of redundancy.
