Today, Daniel Johnson MSP (Labour, Edinburgh Southern) has written to the Cabinet Secretary for Justice to discuss how his proposed Protection of Retail Workers Bill offers an opportunity to support the retail sector in the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Morrisons new safety measures for checkout staff welcomed by Usdaw

Shopworkers trade union Usdaw has welcomed Morrisons agreeing new safety measures, including perspex screens, to help protect checkout operators during the Coronavirus emergency. Usdaw is working with other supermarket retailers to ensure that they meet their duty of care to staff.
