Safety Reps – Tell the TUC what’s going on

Date: 04 May 2016 The TUC wants to hear from trade union health and safety reps about the hazards they face and about health and safety organisation in their workplace. Union reps are being asked to take part in the TUC’s safety reps survey.
The TUC explains that the survey is designed to provide essential information to the TUC and to individual unions about what health and safety reps do and about the problems or challenges they face. This will help unions to develop new materials to support their health and safety reps. It also gives the TUC evidence to use in campaigns for better health and safety standards and in their work with the Health and Safety Executive.

The information safety reps provide is crucial, so it is vitally important that as many Usdaw reps as possible respond to the survey. You can fill the survey form in  on-line at TUC safety reps survey 2016. Or contact the Health and Safety Section in Central Office for a paper copy.

The closing date for the survey is 01 July 2016.
