Home Office survey of violence and abuse toward shop staff

The Government has opened a ‘call for evidence’ on this growing issue, following pressure from Usdaw. They are seeking views to contribute to their understanding of the problem of violence and abuse toward shop staff in England and Wales.

The Government’s questionnaire is long and many questions are for retail employers, so Usdaw has produced a condensed version with the questions most relevant to shopworkers. Please complete the questions below and submit, Usdaw will then use the responses to evidence the Union’s submission to the consultation. If you want to view the original Government survey, it is at: www.homeofficesurveys.homeoffice.gov.uk/s/PVAUE/
The Government consultation closes at 11pm on 28 June 2019. You can complete this survey anonymously or if you let us have your details we’ll keep you in touch with our campaign. We will not pass on your contact details to anyone else and we will only quote any responses anonymously.

Usdaw will use the results from this survey to support and evidence our campaign. Information on how we process and store personal data can be found in our privacy notice.
