Usdaw negotiated the deal on behalf of members working at: Avonmouth, Aylesford, Dagenham, Daventry Grocery and Clothing, Goole, Hinckley, Isle of Man, Lichfield, Livingston, Magor, Middlesbrough, Peterborough, Southampton and Widnes.
Mark Todd – Usdaw national officer says: “We are pleased to have negotiated an above inflation pay increase in Tesco distribution and we welcome that our members have overwhelmingly backed the deal. These are key workers in our economy and communities, working 24/7 to make sure that our stores are stocked, they are literally keeping the nation fed and watered. They also make a huge contribution to the success of the business and it is only right that they are properly rewarded for their effort.
