Mike Walker – Usdaw regional secretary says: “The 2025 pay negotiations have so far failed to reach a satisfactory outcome, despite long and protracted talks, along with numerous offers being rejected by our members. The company has still not tabled an acceptable offer to resolve last year’s pay review and, in light of this, we have given notice to the company of a strike ballot. We are asking our members if they are willing to take part in industrial action in an effort to convince the company to significantly improve their most recent offer of 4%.”
