IKEA to continue paying workers affected by Coronavirus their full sick pay

Date: 01 September 2020 On 28 August IKEA released a press statement confirming that they will continue to pay workers affected by Coronavirus their full sick pay.
Dave Gill - Usdaw National Officer for IKEA said: “We will continue to work with IKEA on their absence policy, and welcome the clarification that IKEA will continue to pay our members who are affected by the Coronavirus their full pay for the duration of their sickness or isolation period and this will not be counted towards any absence trigger points.”
