Daniel Adams - Usdaw National Officer says
“Throughout the 2020 pay review we have been clear and consistent that we wanted to see a negotiated solution, but that a pay freeze for key workers at a time like this was simply unacceptable.
“I am pleased that BCM Fareva agreed to further discussions and has tabled an offer that we can put to members in the upcoming ballot. As such, we have suspended our planned industrial action on 16 and 17 December, pending the outcome of that ballot.
“I would like to thank all members at BCM Fareva, the Senior Stewards on site and local MPs Alex Norris and Lilian Greenwood for their engagement and support during this process.”
