Christmas Working Survey

Thanks to Usdaw’s campaigning, large stores cannot open on Christmas Day, but extended hours of trading on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day mean many retail staff find it hard to get a decent break at Christmas.

We think that retailers should close early on Christmas Eve and remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, to give retail workers the longest possible break over the festive period.

We want to hear more about your experiences and the reality of working in retail over Christmas.

Please could you take a few minutes to complete this short survey.

Usdaw will use the results from this survey to support and evidence our campaigning work. The data provided will be anonymised and will not be shared with any third parties. Information on how we process and store personal data can be found in our privacy notice.

3. If you work in retail, at what times does your store open and close on Boxing Day?
