Today the committee closed the petition on the basis that talks across the retail sector will now happen, but invited Usdaw to resubmit the petition if sufficient progress is not made. Usdaw busts Tory myths about union learning and calls on MPs to lobby the Chancellor for funding 09 February 2021 Retail trade union Usdaw is asking the Government to think again on ending the Union Learning Fund in England. The Government announced that all funding will be withdrawn from the end of March 2021, despite budgeting £12 million a year for the Union Learning Fund (ULF) until March 2022.
