Usdaw launched its Lifelong Learning campaign ten years
ago. Since then, our campaign has shown that when learning is made
accessible and affordable, our members are keen to take it
up.
Up to now:
- More than 50,000 members have returned to some sort of
learning
- More than 1,000 Union Learning Reps have been trained
- Learning is up and running in over 150 workplaces
- Over 50 workplace Learning Centres have been set
up
- Partnerships to access learning have been established with
major companies like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons
Distribution, DHL and McVities.
- Partnerships with colleges to promote access to learning have
been established all over the country
