Urgent appeal for people from UK’s minority ethnic communities with a link to organ donation
Date: 17 February 2011
The ACLT is the leading UK charity dedicated to finding life-saving donors from UK’s amazingly diverse minority ethnic communities.
The charity supports
patients and families during the tough challenges they face during
and after cancer treatment, and deliver stem cell donor appeals and
donor recruitment drives.
If you or a family member
has ever donated an organ, received an organ donation or are on the
organ transplant waiting list AND you are of African,
African Caribbean, Asian, Eastern or Southern European, Hispanic,
Latin American, Middle Eastern or Mixed parental heritage,
they would like to hear from you to discuss an exciting new
campaign to highlight organ donation.
They would like to speak to
you or someone from your family in confidence to provide more info
as the campaign is due to start later in February.
Please contact us as soon as possible in February and into
March 2011
