Road Transport Distress Fund Claim FormDate: 31 October 2007
Professional Drivers
Usdaw's Road Transport Distress Fund is the answer. Professional drivers spend a lot of time driving. That means that they are more likely than the average private motorist to fall foul of the law. Usdaw's Road Transport Distress Fund helps to relieve hardship following a work-related traffic offence. It has a unique self-help scheme which is purely voluntary - and it costs only £5.00 a year, payable every October. The fund is managed by Usdaw's Road Transport National Committee and payment is discretionary. Alcohol or drugs related offences are excluded. To join the Fund please complete and return an application form. Please ensure that you attach a copy of the Fixed Penalty Notice, together with a receipt showing that you have paid the relevant fine. Send all documentation, together with this claim form, to
The Road Transport Section
