Boots manufacturing - Lifelong Learning agreement
This agreement covers about 900 of the 1200 staff employed at the Boots Manufacturing site in Nottingham. The site produces toiletries for Boots the Chemist. The joint policy includes terms of reference for a workplace Learning Committee, guidelines for setting up and running a site Learning Fund and time off for Union Learning Reps.
This joint agreement between BM operations in the UK , Usdaw and Amicus outlines the commitment that each partner will make to lifelong learning within BM and the conditions with which it will operate.
The aim of the joint agreement is to make lifelong learning as accessible as possible for employees within the group by working in partnership with Boots Logistics, maximising the use of existing facilities and planning for future needs.
