Cavaghan and Gray - terms of reference for a workplace Learning Committee

This agreement is a local agreement covering the Cavaghan and Gray site at Carlisle. The site manufactures products including potato topped pies, quiches, recipe dishes and party foods, mainly for Marks & Spencer. There are approximately 900 members of staff. The joint policy includes terms of reference for a workplace Learning Committee.

The Joint Steering Group will comprise of a number of Employer representatives (including at least one senior member of the management team who can make effective decisions for the company) and Union representatives and other invited attendees. A balanced composition should be achieved to make appropriate decisions, which must be on a unanimous basis.
