Argos Widnes - terms of reference for a workplace Learning Committee
This agreement is a local agreement covering the Argos site at Widnes. Argos Widnes is a call centre employing approximately 1200 members of staff. The joint learning policy includes terms of reference for a site learning committee.
Role of the Steering Group
The overall aim of the group will be to develop, encourage, introduce, implement, support and monitor Lifelong Learning activities across the site. It will work to make learning opportunities as accessible as possible to all employees, enabling them to increase skills and maximise their own potential.
The Steering Group will comprise of:
The group will reserve the right to co-opt representatives from outside agencies, eg Learning Services, Teaching Skills Council, etc, to assist as and when necessary. A chairperson will be nominated by the group at the inaugural meeting.
