Workplace Learning Committee – Dairy Crest (Aspatria)
Dairy Crest Aspatria is a site that manufactures milk and cheese products and has about 120 staff. The joint Learning Policy with Dairy Crest (Aspatria) contains a section on a site Learning Committee.
"Dairy Crest and the Unions are committed to working in Partnership to promote and support Lifelong Learning activities/opportunities inside and outside of the organisation.
Dairy Crest supports the work of Union Learning Representatives (ULRs) in their duties to represent the views of members on learning matters and to advise, guide and communicate with staff about learning-related opportunities and initiatives. Both Dairy Crest and the Unions are committed to supporting the training of Union Learning Representatives (ULRs)".
