Six Pack - Usdaw Guide to the 1992 Health And Safety Regulations

In January 1993, six Regulations on Health and Safety at Work were introduced.
Most of the requirements of these Regulations are not new. They simply spell out in more detail what a responsible employer should already have been doing to comply with the requirements of the 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act.
Because so many employers have failed to introduce a systematic approach to the management of health and safety in the past, these Regulations are very important.
They provide a major opportunity for Usdaw safety representatives to tackle the most serious health and safety problems affecting Usdaw members.
