July 11 2007 - Respect for shopworkers day
The 11 July 2007 sees the start of the fifth Shopworkers Respect event as the union builds on the successes of the last 4 years.
A survey is planned to look at how far we have come since the first Respect Day and its effects on members and the public. We will looking for help from activists to complete survey forms themselves and to carry out surveys with fellow workers in their store.
There will also be a 'It's your store, Respect it' campaign with posters and cards.
More details will be sent to activists later this year outlining details of events and resources. Any activists who want to get involved should contact their local Usdaw office or watch out for more details on the Usdaw web site.
