HSE adopts Usdaw risk mapping tool
A new HSE guide for trade union safety reps on slips and trips is based on an idea that Usdaw first started promoting three years ago.
The four page guide has been developed from Usdaw's 'Risk Mapping for Slips and Trips' leaflet which has proved to be a very simple and effective way to identify and control the risks. The HSE guide contains information about the control measures that inspectors are expected to look out for when inspecting slip and trip risks alongside the Usdaw risk mapping tool.
