HSE wants Better Backs campaign feedback

19 March 2007

HSE would like people to give feedback of their experience and involvement of their Better Backs campaign which ran in October/November 2006.

HSE and the TUC worked together to produce a checklist for workplace manual handling inspections and a practical guide to managing sickness absence and return to work.

The materials were publicised on the Usdaw web site and circulated to branches.

They want to know if you found these materials helpful. For a copy of these and for further information on manual handling visit the Better Back webpages http://www.hse.gov.uk/msd/campaigns/youcould.htm

The feedback questionnaire is online at http://www.hse.gov.uk/workers/safetyreps/questionnaire.htm

It is fairly short and won't take much time to fill in. But it would be useful to tell HSE if you found the Better Backs materials helpful or if anything was done as part of the campaign in your workplace.

The deadline for completed questionnaires is 26 March 2007.
