ShopDirect reps delivering a first class service

Reps at ShopDirect in Bolton are delivering a first class service as general secretary John Hannett found out when he visited the workplace in December.
The site boasts more than 2,100 members. Executive councillor Anne Hickson leads the team of reps on site.
“There have been difficult times for home shopping recently, but I’m pleased to say that because of the union’s involvement with the company, we have good industrial relations and we are hopefully riding the storm.”
John Hannett said: “I’ve been very impressed with the set up here, the reps have everything under control. This is a good example of a well organised workplace.”
