Membership boost at Makro Glasgow

Makro's Glasgow store has seen membership increase by 20% since the start of an organising and recruitment campaign.

"The campaign has got off to a great start, with not only a increase of reps from four to six, but an increase of membership to 60%" said Craig Smith, Organising Officer from the Scottish Division. He went on to add, "each member of the committee has developed and everyone is now coming up with ideas on how to increase membership. Each of the reps has decided which areas of the store to target using the mapping exercise we did in the first week of the committee forming. It gives me great pleasure to see the team develop into a well organised committee and I am sure we will soon have a well organised workplace."
