Garry has recruited over 100 new members from Jacksons over a four week period. Garry explained "We have managed to recruit these people because they have a genuine desire to join the union, having never been asked before".

The company have provided facilities for recruitment following the signing of an agreement to let Usdaw into stores to talk to potential members.

Garry said "We can can now build on this great start and continue to build membership in Jacksons stores to bring collective bargaining that bit closer."
