Recruiting shop stewards within Scotmid Co-op has given me great pleasure and it is particularly rewarding to see young, keen stewards taking up the role. There was little in place before and this will be a great help in keeping members within this group.
Together with my Organising Officer colleague, Craig Smith, we have recruited approx 160 new members.
