The first issue of Arena 2006 - crammed full of information, advice and features - should be landing in Usdaw workplaces across the UK now.
As usual members feature prominently and there are countless stories on how Usdaw has changed their lives for the better - whether that's in compensation after an accident at work, lifelong learning opportunities or protecting staff at work.
Age is no bar to involvement in Usdaw with young workers taking centre stage, and the front cover, providing more examples of how active reps are delivering an excellent service to their members.
Usdaw is well-known for being the campaigning union and this is well in evidence with the latest initiative which will see Usdaw continue to protect Sunday from any extension in trading hours with examples of members already working hard to drum up support among their colleagues, the shopping public and MPs.
