The May/June Arena is now available with a rich mixture of news, features and information on the work of Usdaw, its reps and members across the UK. The first National Respect for Shopworkers Week on July 5-11 is eagerly anticipated as the union gears up for this special groundbreaking event.
Home Secretary David Blunkett's visit to the Annual Delegate Meeting also features with coverage of the main debates at the union's own parliament.
New General Secretary John Hannett is introduced to readers as he begins his tenure as leader of Usdaw after seven years as Deputy General Secretary.
Ongoing recruitment success is celebrated as is the Legal plus service and with features on a Tesco store in Greater Manchester and a health feature on skin cancer, plus much more, the May/June issue provides an entertaining read for the union's 333,000 members.
