Recruitment Prize Draw – Win a Car!

Recruitment Prize Draw - Win a Car!
Recruitment Prize Draw - Win a Car!

The union knows how hardworking their activists are in helping to ensure that Usdaw continues to be the fastest growing union in the UK. Your hard work is invaluable and that’s why we wanted to say thank you.

Between now and the end of March next year you can claim any number of free entries for a prize draw that will take place at Usdaw’s Conference in April 2006. There are some fantastic prizes on offer:

• A brand new Ford Fiesta car
• £2,000 Holiday Voucher
• £1,000 Holiday Voucher
• Seven £500 Shopping Vouchers (one voucher per Division)

To qualify for an entry all you have to do is recruit five members to Usdaw – and you get an extra entry for every additional five members you recruit. There’s no limit to the number of entries you can qualify for.

You can recruit your colleagues at work, friends and relatives. Just think, if you attend an induction session of new starters and recruit 10 new members you get two entries – and that’s for each induction. All you have to do is make sure that your name and membership number are written at the top of each membership form for the people you recruit. We’ll make sure that the correct number of entries are allocated to you for the draw.

This is one small way in which Usdaw can say thank you for your continued hard work. Clearly not everyone can win but everyone has the same chance to recruit new members and to be allocated entries into the draw.

There is a poster to advertise the prize draw. Please put this on your union notice board. Copies are available from the Stationery department at Central Office; there is also a downloadable version available at the bottom of this page.

Usdaw are working on further initiatives to help say thank you and we will write out to you again once these are finalised. Keep up the good work and fingers crossed that you will be celebrating in April next year!

We would like to thank the Usdaw panel of solicitors (they are detailed on the Prize Draw Poster) for kindly sponsoring the draw. The solicitors provide a valuable service to our members for which they deserve all of our thanks.
