Network Journal 2008 Issue 2 March/April

Elaine Davies

Ellen Shaw, NW Tesco Retail No.4 K120

I want to pay tribute to my friend and sister-in-law Elaine Davies who died recently after a long battle against cancer.

Elaine was an inspiration to everyone and played an important part in the campaign to provide the breast cancer drug Herceptin to women via the NHS (featured in Arena Summer 2006).

Elaine's legacy goes on as does the campaign.

Only last month myself and fellow rep Deb Kane helped raise more than £1,000 for the Dorothy Griffiths Cancer Fund www.dorothygriffiths-bcaf.org.uk

Elaine will be missed by us all.
