ADM: in briefThe latest ADM news. On the fringeWhile ADM involves four days of intense discussion and voting from 9.30am to 5pm, delegates and visitors also get the chance to be informed and entertained outside of conference hours. Fringe meetings during the lunch breaks and early evenings will offer members the chance to listen to a range of speakers across a number of subjects. Look out for details nearer the time. Delegates and visitors can also relax and socialise at evening events including the Youth Disco, Scouse Night and the Civic Reception.
In the stallsThere will be a number of exhibition stalls set up just outside the main conference venue. Members can view the whole range of publications and merchandise as well as displays from the union's various departments. These include education and legal and other sections from road transport to young workers and many more. A number of the union's affinity partners will also be displaying their wares.
Crèche availableThere are a limited number of places for children under 16 at the crèche provided by Usdaw at ADM. This is staffed by qualified childminders and is free for union delegates and visitors. Members are advised to book early to avoid disappointment and should contact their Branch Secretary or local office for more information and a registration form.
