"Again our activists on the academy have proved to be extremely successful with more members and reps recruited than ever before," said deputy general secretary Paddy Lillis. "This year's team of organisers, the biggest intake in the four years so far, has more than doubled the numbers on last year and most importantly we're increasing our profile with more reps and more activists in more workplaces across the UK than ever before."
"Usdaw is always on the look out for committed, enthusiastic and talented reps who want to make a bigger contribution to the union.
"If you have a proven track record of recruitment then the Academy offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills further. We'll give you all the training and support you will need to help you make a bigger contribution to the union now and in the future."
