Executive Council by-election
A place on the union’s governing body – the executive council – is up for grabs following the resignation of Thomas Perkins in the Southern division.
Nomination papers for the by-election were sent to branch secretaries on May 23. These should be returned by July 4. Postal ballots will be sent out to all members in the Southern division on August 8. The ballot will close on September 9.
If any Southern based members have changed address or name recently they should contact the union immediately, but no later than July 28.
Anyone interested in standing for the vacancy should contact their branch secretary or local office for further details.
