ADM in brief

Conference voted overwhelmingly to increase weekly subscription rates from week beginning June 26 this year.
Scale A will increase from £1.80 to £1.86, scale B will go up from £1.60 to £1.65 and scale C from £1.16 to £1.20.
Speaker after speaker supported the increase which will help fund the union's ongoing campaigns Freedom From Fear and Supporting Parents and Carers.
Generous delegates and visitors donated more than £7,400 to various charities during the four days.
Scouse night raised £1,430 for Alder hey hospital, the North Eastern's karaoke Night brought in more than £3,000 for local charities, £663 was collected at the Youth Disco for cancer charities, Welsh Night raised £900, an additional £1,000 was donated to the Air Ambulance service, and Usdaw presented a cheque for £500 to the Mayoress of Blackpool for her designated charity.
