Get involved and make a difference
Thanks to the hard work of thousands of Usdaw members, activists, and officials, our Freedom From Fear campaign is helping to put respect and safety for shopworkers at the top of retailers’ and politicians’ agendas.
This year we are holding a special National Respect for Shopworkers Week from July 5-11. You can help us achieve even more this year by joining us and getting involved. John Hannett, General Secretary.
Freedom From Fear is coming to a town or city near you and will see thousands of shopworkers flying the flag for Usdaw. Union reps and officials are putting the final preparations in place for more than 100 street stalls to raise the campaign's profile, make the workplace safer, and win support from the shopping public, employers, MPs and local councils.
This is all part of Usdaw's National Respect for Shopworkers Week being held from July 5-11 and your involvement is crucial to the success of this important next stage of the campaign.
Last year, thousands of reps were involved and the campaign was a huge success.
