What can Usdaw do for me?

A lot! First of all it offers protection. Today we all know just how uncertain things can be at work, how people can be treated unfairly and even sacked unfairly. On your own you have no chance of dealing with management on anything like equal terms. As an Usdaw member you are not on your own.

Usdaw can help you if you have a complaint against management, or if management have a complaint against you and want to discipline you.

Usdaw provides a free legal service to all its members. The union also offers cash benefits for sickness, death, disability, etc.

Most of all Usdaw will help improve your pay and conditions. As an individual you carry little or no weight with your employer. As an Usdaw member you have the support of a strong organisation behind you.
