questions

What if I am a ‘Protected Shopworker’ but I want to do Sunday working?

questions

You will lose your Protected Shopworker status for ever if you agree to “Opt In” under the Sunday Trading Act. Do not sign an Opting In Notice unless you understand what it means for you and you are happy about doing so.

answers

An Opting In Notice is a document which the shopworker signs and dates to say that they wish to do Sunday working. In addition the shopworker must also agree with the employer what Sunday working he/she is prepared to do.
