Contracts of Employment

Can my employer keep me on a fixed-term contract? I have a fixed-term contract – am I entitled to the same treatment as permanent staff? I want to change my hours to fit around my childcare arrangements – what are my rights? If my employer terminates my contract, how much notice do they have to give me? Is my employer allowed to change my Contract/Terms and Conditions? Should I have a Contract of Employment?
