Usdaw’s Supporting Carers' Spotlight Day is a great opportunity to raise awareness of existing rights and to press for further improvements, particularly in respect of extending the right to request flexible working to parents of older children.
The survey is also a useful tool to approach colleagues in the workplace who aren't either members of Usdaw or who aren't active in the union.
