National youth weekend

31 May 2007

This year’s national youth weekend is to be held at the national training centre in Warrington from 10–11 November.

The two-day event is open to young members (aged 26 and below), activists or reps from all divisions, companies and sectors.

The weekend is relaxed and informal and gives members the opportunity to discuss what the union is doing for them and how they can get more involved.

It's a lively weekend with guest speakers, workshops, question and answer sessions as well as some very serious socialising.

Over the years the weekend has been the launch pad for many members to become more active in the union with some going on to full-time positions with Usdaw.

For more details you should contact the education department (0161 224 2804) or your local Usdaw office.
