Time off for dependants explained - 18 August 2008
Sometimes we need time off work to deal with an accident or other problem at home involving a person we care for.
All carers and parents are entitled to unpaid time off work to deal with family emergencies such as a child being injured at school. The leave is called Time off for Dependants.
