Ask your MP to sign EDM 1332 Carers and gainfully employed rule

17 May 2007

Ask your MP to support Early Day Motion 1332, tabled by Helen Jones MP.

You can make a real impact in our campaigns by actually going to see your own MP in person to explain the issues. Most MPs, particularly Labour ones, want to help Usdaw members and support our campaigns. They will be pleased to see you and talk about issues of concern to you and the members you represent.

Alternatively you can write to your MP. If you can get your site manger to write a joint letter with you, that would be much more powerful.

Details of how to lobby your MP are available to download here.

To check if your MP has signed EDM 1332 go to http://edmi.parliament.uk/edmi/
