Did you know Working Tax Credit now offers support to more working people

01 April 2007

Working Tax Credit now supports working people without children and disabled workers.

With Working Tax Credit, work pays much better than benefits.

Working Tax Credits help from the Government to ‘top up’ the wages of people on low incomes who work full-time. It gives help to people who:

  • Are over 25 years old or disabled and over 16
  • Work more than 30 hours a week in total or 16 hours if disabled
  • Have a low income of less than £225 a week if you are single or £305 a week (joint income) if you are in a couple.

Visit the online resource library and download the Working Tax Credit … now supports working people without children and disabled workers booklet now.
