Petition for support for retail staff in preventing under-age sales
23 June 2005
This is a good way to get your MP’s support and some publicity for the campaign. Further details on how to get your MP involved are detailed below:
Presenting Your Petition to Your MP
- Ring your MP to arrange a time and place when you can make the presentation.
- All MPs can be contacted at the House of Commons on 020 7219 3000.
- The best place for the presentation would be at your store (if your manager agrees).
- Ring your local press to let them know and ask them to send a photographer (if your manager agrees).
- When handing over the petition to your MP, tell them about the campaign and issues in your store and ask for their support.
