Order our leaflet on preventing under-age sales10 July 2007Usdaw recognises the difficulties faced by staff from youngsters attempting to purchase age-restricted goods. Refusing under-age sales is a common trigger for abuse, intimidation and even violence against shopworkers.
Download our Preventing under-age sales (Leaflet 351) to help advise members working in retail on how to deal with the difficult issue of policing the sale of age-restricted products. You can also get copies of the leaflet from the Stationery department at Central Office.
